Marcus Herne is a Composer, Sound artist and Creative Producer, who’s distinct compositional and production style treads a ferocious path uniting and adapting practices from classical minimalism, experimental sound design and contemporary classical as well as electronic music production.
His work includes EPs Forms (2021), Forms Redux (2023) and studio album MAW (2026), and spans an array of other forms including installations, live performance and collaborations in dance, theatre and film, where he has composed several pieces including for noir thriller Vehl (2026) and short about British Punjabi musician Raf Saperra ‘Tale of the Snake Charmer’ (2024).
Herne is also a member of art collective Breath Quartet, partaking in multiple durational performances and installations.
